Description

Designed for musicians who need higher quality in their productions, the ZOOM UAC-232 USB Audio Converter is the first ever dedicated 32-bit float audio interface. Features Dual AD circuitry with 32-bit float recording technology High-quality mic preamps, same as the Zoom F6 Records up to 192 kHz sample rate Compatible with Windows, Mac, and iOS devices (Android not supported) Zoom Mix Control software mixer MUSIC and STREAMING modes available via the software to optimize I/O Loopback available via the software Direct Monitor switch for latency-free recording MIDI IN/OUT for connection to external MIDI equipment Bus-powered operation (separate power required for Lightenting-enabled iOS devices) No Need to Set Gain - Sound levels are always at risk of fluctuating, whether you're recording on stage or in the studio. The ZOOM UAC-232 captures clip-free, low-noise audio with 32-bit float technology without needing to adjust mic gain. Our Finest Preamps - The UAC-232 ensures high-grade recordings in any scenario thanks to the same clean, low-noise preamps featured in ZOOM's professional F-Series recorders. Built For Creators For Music - With 32-bit float technology, you no longer have to worry about dialing the perfect input gain or monitoring levels, regardless of whether you're recording in studio or in a live setting. For Podcasts & Voiceovers - 32-bit float guarantees the highest audio quality over the entire dynamic range of a performance, and it protects against peaks and clipping when levels aren't being monitored. Great for podcasters and voiceover artists. More Control - Modify I/O routing, activate loopback, control input and monitoring levels, activate Music Mode to route to your DAW, or Streaming Mode to mix all inputs down into a single signal for streaming software. Loopback - The Loopback function combines the input signal with the playback signal from your computer and routes it to your software - ideal for adding background music to your stream or singing live with backing tracks. Latency-Free Monitoring - By using the Direct Monitor switch, you can send input signal directly to headphones while routing the same signal to your DAW or streaming software simultaneously. Use the Mix Control to adjust volume and pan for your direct monitor feed. Inputs - The UAC-232 USB Audio Converter includes two XLR/TRS combo jacks for mic or line level inputs, and +48V phantom power is available for using condenser microphones. You can activate the Hi-Z circuit for recording guitar and bass directly by engaging the Guitar/Bass button. Outputs - Connect studio monitors using the two main TRS outputs and adjust level with the dedicated volume control. Powerful Headphone Output - The integrated 100mW headphone output enables louder and clearer monitoring, and boasts enough power to drive even the most demanding headphones without distortion. Built-in MIDI - Connect external MIDI equipment, like drum machines, synths and keyboards via the MIDI in/out. Compact Design - Set up vertically, horizontally or mount it to a mic stand. The UAC-232 can be placed anywhere thanks to the convenient included flat cable straps. Compatibility - Connect the UAC-232 via USB and enjoy recording and streaming with software such as Pro Tools, Cubase, OBS and more on PC and Mac, or use with iOS devices to record and stream in 24-bit with apps like GarageBand, YouTube and Instagram.
