In 1618, Avedis I, an Armenian alchemist residing in Constantinople, developed a secret method for treating alloys and introduced it to the art of building cymbals with incredible clarity and sustain - a unique blend of copper, tin, and silver is still used in manufacturing Zildjian cymbals to this day. To celebrate the origins of this secret Zildjian alloy, this 400th Anniversary design features alchemy symbols to represent each of the metals in this alloy, arranged to form the shape of a cymbal. Soft and lightweight, these tees feature unisex sizing to suit every drummer!
