After using Wampler pedals for a number of years, Paisley's tech mentioned to Wampler that Brad wasn't completely satisfied with his tone, and that they were interested in collaborating to create the perfect overdrive to meet Brad's touring and recording demands. These demands were simple in concept - this pedal needed to be clean, with the ability to get crunchy with some weight and heft to it.
