Inspired by the legendary tones of the Bell and Howell Filmosound 385 projector, the reimagined 385 MKII Overdrive delivers warm, tube-like drive with exceptional dynamics and responsiveness. This updated version adds powerful new features, including an A/B switch that lets you toggle between two independent sets of Volume and Gain—perfect for switching tones on the fly. It also features a 385+ mode, injecting extra gain and saturation for those moments when you want to push your sound over the edge.
Originally loved for its raw, amp-like character, the 385 Overdrive was designed to bring the feel of vintage projector amps to your pedalboard. The MKII expands on that with separate Bass and Treble controls, giving you far more tonal flexibility than the original amp's single tone knob. Sculpt everything from rich mid scoops to focused high-end bite with ease.
Running internally at 18 volts, the 385 MKII delivers the dynamic headroom and playing sensitivity of a real tube amp—responding organically to your picking strength and guitar’s volume. Whether you're after subtle edge-of-breakup tones or gritty full-throttle distortion, the 385 MKII adapts with the feel and nuance guitarists crave.
