Specifically designed to capture distant sound sources in the highest quality, the Sennheiser MKH 8070 long shotgun microphone has a very natural character, making it the perfect choice in  major broadcast and sporting applications. With it's pronounced lobar polar pattern, it's astonishing directivity faithfully captures magic moments from a distance, even in the most troubling sonic and environmental conditions. The special design of the MKH 8070 attenuates off-axis sounds without colouration, and like the other mics in the 8000 range, can be combined with the MZD 8000 digital module, transforming it into an authentic digital microphone with ease.
