With a newly developed condenser capsule and an housing based on the X1's rugged metal chassis, the X1 A offers premium sound and specs at an even better home studio price, with a very natural frequency response, monster SPL handling (150dB!), switchable pad and low-cut filters, and a totally neutral sensitivity level – suitable for any source. From vocals to acoustic instruments, electric guitars to percussion, the X1 A is perfect for musicians looking for a quality mic at an entry level price. ALL-METAL HOUSING & PREMIUM FINISH Unlike the cheaply constructed housings of other entry-level microphones, the X1 A's all-metal body effectively filters out electrical interference and noise, and guarantees a great finish year after year. INTEGRATED WINDSCREEN Eliminates the need for an external pop filter and provides anther layer of security for the all-important capsule. COMPLETELY NEW ACOUSTIC DESIGN The X1 A's new condenser capsule is a state-of-the-art design, delivering pristine sonic performance on any source with unbelievable speed, precision and balanced frequency response. The electronics have also been completely redesigned, demonstrating better specifications and sound than any other microphone in its class. ATTENUATION & LOW CUT SWITCHES The -20dB pad switch on the left achieves a wide dynamic range, enabling close mic techniques for a variety of applications and even the loudest instruments. The 100 Hz low-cut switch on the right helps filter out low-frequency vibrations and footsteps, and compensate for low-end buildup with close miking. GOLD-PLATED XLR CONNECTOR Guarantees a lossless and reliable signal connection year after year. The X1 A comes with a redesigned, robust pivoting mic clip and a threaded adapter to suit any mic stand. If you need even more vibration control, the X1 A fully integrates with sE's Isolation Pack and Reflexion Filter X- recommended for a quick setup and professional vocal setup when recording in a home studio.
