Two premium DACs are used for two independent stereo outputs. Internal audio processing such as EQ, Crossfeed and spectral analysis is performed by a high performance DSP with 2.17 GigaFLOPS (2882 MIPS) DSP, providing enough processing power to operate even at 768 kHz sample rate. A high-quality Sample Rate Converter has been added for ease of use, switchable to AES or SPDIF input, and solves clocking issues between them. Also, RME's latest SteadyClock FS technology guarantees perfect jitter reduction and stable clocking regardless of whether internal or external clock is used.
