Ultra-fidelity PCM/DSD 768 kHz AD/DA Converter The most flexible converter on the market, the ADI-2 Pro features balanced/unbalanced analog I/O, dual Extreme Power headphone outputs, SteadyClock FS, 4-stage hardware input and output level control, DSP-based signal processing, and an external power supply. Class compliant USB compatibility, sample rates up to 768kHz, DSD record and direct DSD playback (256 / 11.2MHz). Analog or Digital - Options Galore ADI-2 Pro has 2 servo-balanced analog inputs on combo XLR/TRS jacks, 2 separate balanced and unbalanced outputs on XLR and TS, 2 front panel stereo Extreme Power headphone outputs, optical SPDIF I/O that also understands ADAT, and coaxial SPDIF (RCA) and AES I/O (XLR) connections via included breakout cable. Two premium DACs are used for two independent stereo outputs. Internal audio processing such as EQ, Crossfeed and spectral analysis is performed by a high performance DSP with 2.17 GigaFLOPS (2882 MIPS) DSP, providing enough processing power to operate even at 768 kHz sample rate. A high-quality Sample Rate Converter has been added for ease of use, switchable to AES or SPDIF input, and solves clocking issues between them. Also, RME's latest SteadyClock FS technology guarantees perfect jitter reduction and stable clocking regardless of whether internal or external clock is used.
