Djembes are traditionally tuned by weaving triangles through the vertical rope sections using the excess rope on the drum, with the head becoming tighter and tighter with the more triangles weaved. Boasting a natural feel and comfortable performance, the synthetic head is designed for outstanding tuning stability, while resisting changes occurring due to moisture and temperature changes. With a rubber coating on the bottom, the drum is protected from scratches and scuffing, while keeping it firmly in place. A portion of each Djembe sale is donated to The Rhythmic Arts Project.
