Both our Myaree and Wangara stores are open 9–5:30pm Monday – Friday, with Myaree open 9–7pm Thursdays, both stores 9–5pm on Saturday and closed on Sundays.

If stock is only indicated at our warehouse location it can still be transferred to your desired store, even if you just want to try it, just get in touch with your desired store during store opening hours and make a request!

Description

Djembes are traditionally tuned by weaving triangles through the vertical rope sections using the excess rope on the drum, with the head becoming tighter and tighter with the more triangles weaved. Boasting a natural feel and comfortable performance, the synthetic head is designed for outstanding tuning stability, while resisting changes occurring due to moisture and temperature changes. With a rubber coating on the bottom, the drum is protected from scratches and scuffing, while keeping it firmly in place.

A portion of each Djembe sale is donated to The Rhythmic Arts Project. TRAP's main goal is to promote the inclusion of people suffering intellectual and developmental disabilities and their typical peers in every aspect of everyday life.
