Enhanced DAW integration Launchkey supports all major DAWs out of the box, and offers seamless custom integration for Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studio and Ardor. This gives you a hardware-assisted workflow, giving you full control over transport functions, timeline navigation, mixing and EQ, clip starting, instrument and effect parameters. And if you're using Ableton Live's Session View or Logic's Live Loops, the 16 drum pads also double as Launchpad-style clip launchers with RGB backlighting that perfectly matches what's displayed on-screen. More powerful creative tools Launchkey 25's creative tools are built into the hardware itself, so they work equally well in your DAW, hardware synth, or mobile device. Scale mode lets you set your keyboard to one of 30 different scales to avoid false notes, or you can map everything to white keys only. Fixed Chord mode lets you trigger full chords from a single key, and new Chord Maps let you go a step further and create emotive progressions from Launchkey's pads. And with the latest version of our popular arpeggiator, it's easier than ever to tweak and manipulate your sequences to find endless inspiration. Super-responsive keybed and FSR pads The 25-key synthesiser-style keyboard is expressive, musical and fun to play. For finger drummers, Launchkey now offers patented velocity-sensitive FSR drum pads with polyphonic aftertouch. Unlike standard pads, each pad features its own radial sensor for increased sensitivity and greater consistency, allowing for more precise performances. They can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch. Play your way with Custom Modes Launchkey's controls aren't limited to default assignments; simply load the free component software into your browser and configure it to work the way you want with your software or hardware. Save up to four custom mappings for Launchkey's pads and encoders and instantly recall them from your hardware to send the Note, MIDI CC or Program Change of your choice. Go beyond the computer Launchkey 25's 5-pin MIDI output makes it easy to connect hardware synthesisers, no DAW required. In addition to components and custom mapping, all major functions can be controlled directly from the keyboard. And because Launchkey is USB-powered and class-compatible, it's fully compatible with many music apps for iPhone and iPad, including the free Novation Launchpad app. All you need to create Launchkey 25 comes with everything you need to plug in and start making music right away. The included Ableton Live 12 Lite gives you the ability to record and perform with up to eight tracks of MIDI or audio, as well as a suite of instruments, effects, and creative tools – and it all works perfectly with Launchkey.
