With versatile interconnectivity for the modern studio, the KH 870 boasts eight channels of analog I/O, and the four-mode LFE-channel processing ensures compatibility across all formats and industries. Flexible acoustic controls and fourth-order crossovers enable seamless integration into existing systems. In-built volume control and a hardware remote control enables streamlined system control independent of the source, and remote controlled electronics alleviate unnecessary cabling. From mono, to 3D, the KH 870 is perfect in a range of system configurations.

To ensure the most accurate sound reproduction possible, the KH 870 employs the latest amplifier technology and acoustical components - rugged drivers, a robust cabinet, and meticulously engineered ports to achieve a tight, articulate low-end response - free of distortion - even at extreme playback levels. Using the sum output, the lateral consistency in the listening area is acoustically improved thanks to Plane Wave Bass Array (PWBA) techniques. The bass extends down to 18Hz.
Flexible Mounting Options
Designed to compliment Neumann's extensive collection of monitors, the KH 870 can be used alone, or daisy-chained to increase the SPL of larger systems. For use in music, broadcast, and post production studios for recording, mixing, and mastering applications. Thanks to the front-mounted port, this subwoofer can be placed next to a wall, or flush-mounted into a wall, and can be mixed freely in multichannel systems with other Neumann loudspeakers.
