The newly-updated EC-1000 is a masterpiece of a modern performance guitars. The glossy black lacquered beauty is finished with polished gold hardware and special aesthetic details such as a multi-ply body and headstock binding. The construction is also based on traditional single-cut guitar design, with a set-thru construction at a 24.75-inch scale, mahogany body, and three-piece fully-bound mahogany neck. The EC-1000 Fluence also offers modern features tailored for today's musical styles, including a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, locking LTD tuners, Macassar ebony fretboard with ESP flag inlays, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. This guitar features active Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck) with push-pull controls for to select voicings and a gold cover to match this guitar's great aesthetic. Each pickup provides two voices. Featuring a ceramic bridge pickup, the Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone...crisp, searing crunch, tight bass and growl without mud. Voice 2 offers a modern passive attack performance with excellent organic distortion characteristics and outstanding dynamics and response. Voice 1 of the alnico neck pickup is Fishman's modern active high-output tone, delivering the ideal alnico sound: full, round and powerful, yet with unparalleled articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean, flowing neck humbucker sound you've always wanted.
