Originally introduced in 1962 as a square-shouldered take on the Southern Jumbo, it features a thermally aged Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing for a rich, vintage-inspired tone.
The mahogany neck offers a comfortable round profile, a bound Indian rosewood fretboard, and classic mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. Aged nickel Gotoh® tuners, a rosewood belly-up bridge, and a bone saddle, nut, and bridge pins ensure solid tuning stability. Masterfully aged by the Murphy Lab, this reissue delivers the worn-in feel and character of a road-tested classic.
