Its slimmer “concert depth” body not only offers a more focused low end—perfect for fitting cleanly in a mix—but also enhances playing comfort for long sessions. The utile neck is joined with a precise compound dovetail and secured with hot hide glue, continuing Gibson’s tradition of premium craftsmanship. A comfortable Round neck profile, 12” radius rosewood fretboard, and classic pearloid parallelogram inlays ensure smooth playability and timeless aesthetics. Equipped with 20 frets, a traditional belly-up rosewood bridge with a TUSQ® saddle, and matching TUSQ nut and bridge pins, the Hummingbird Special is built for stable, resonant performance.
