Designed for speed, the 25.5" scale maple neck features a 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets for fierce leads and silky bends. Mother-of-pearl block inlays add an unexpected luxury feel to this Tele®. It's a workhorse, but that doesn't mean it can't look good. The real magic is in the pickups. Two custom Chris Shiflett "Cleaver" Noiseless CS-90 pickups combine the throaty midrange punch and singing highs of a vintage single coil with powerful performance, all without any hum. "F" style tuners, bone nut and wing string tree with nylon spacers ensure proper tuning even in marathon sets, while a through-body hardtail bridge improves resonance and sustain.
