First introduced in 1961, the Casino was just one of several new thin-line archtops designed and manufactured at the company's new factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, which it shared with former competitor and new partner Gibson. The Casino was purchased by Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, who used it to record the demo of Satisfaction for Chess Records in Chicago. Howlin' Wolf used the Casino on his first UK tour, where he also performed on Thank Your Lucky Stars. Shortly thereafter, John Lennon and George Harrison purchased a Casino for The Beatles' 1966 world tour. It features Dogear PRO P-90 pickups and a five-ply maple body, and is available in natural and vintage sunburst finishes.  Features Layered Maple Body, Single-ply Binding Top, Back , and Neck Mahogany SlimTaper ™ 60s C Neck Epiphone PRO P-90 Pickups in Neck and Bridge Premium Gig Bag Included Specifications Body Shape: Broadway Material: Layered Maple Binding: Single-ply Top, Back , and Neck Neck Material: Mahogany Profile: Slim Taper™ 60s C Nut width: 43 mm Fingerboard: Indian Laurel Scale length: 628.65 mm Number of frets: 22 Nut: Graph Tech Hardware Bridge: LockTone Tune-O-Matic Tail Piece: Diamond Trapeze Knobs: Gold Top Hat with Silver Inserts Tuners: Epiphone Vintage Deluxe Plating: Nickel Electronics Neck Pickup: Epiphone PRO P-90 Bridge Pickup: Epiphone PRO P-90 Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone
