Description

The EarthQuaker Devices Buffer Splitter is the perfect solution for preserving your tone across long cable runs or large pedalboards full of true bypass pedals. Built with a high 1MΩ input impedance and a low 100Ω output impedance—just like EQD’s acclaimed Buffer/Preamp—it ensures your signal stays clear, punchy, and full. It subtly enhances your lows while keeping the top-end crisp, adding depth and definition to your sound. But it doesn’t stop there—this isn't just a buffer, it's a dual-output buffer. That means you can split your signal and send it in two directions: run into two amps, create a stereo rig, use one output for effects and the other for a dry-through path, or isolate your tuner from the main signal chain. Whether you're cleaning up your tone or crafting complex routing setups, the Buffer Splitter gives you the clarity, flexibility, and punch your rig deserves. High 1MΩ input impedance and low 100Ω output impedance for optimal signal integrity Dual-output design for flexible routing options Preserves high-end clarity and enhances low-end presence Splits signal to two amps, stereo rigs, or dry/wet paths Removes tuners from the main signal chain Perfect for large pedalboards and long cable runs Compact and pedalboard-friendly form factor Built with high-quality components for reliable performance True bypass switching when unpowered Current Draw: 15 mA Input Impedance: 1 MΩ Output Impedance: 100 Ω Please note: This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES.
