The Ghost Echo is Earthquaker Devices' spooky interpretation of the haunting amplifier spring tank reverb units of yesteryear. This eerie analog/digital spring reverb machine offers a terrifying 30ms – 150ms of pre-delay, controllable via the Attack knob, for everything from a fast classic slapback to ferocious oceans of reverberation. You'll hear the warped reverb tails when playing staccato, delivering more of a slapback or echo sound. Legato playing reveals massive ambient dimension that thickens the sound. The Dwell knob controls the amount and thickness of the decay. At the maximum setting, it will plunge into an infinite cycle of self-oscillation. Depth sets the strength of the reverb, which is more commonly referred to as the wet/dry mix, but another way to look at it is how terrifying the overall soundscape is.
