HEADSTOCK & TUNERS Elegant, color-coordinated headstock is equipped with Duesenberg's ultra-smooth Z-Tuners Not only are these tuners highly accurate and extremely comfortable, they also hide sharp string ends inside the tuner, preventing damage to your case, gig bag, or fingertips. NECK & FRETBOARD The string-action, the height of the strings over the frets, can only be set low and comfortable if all frets are precisely the same height. To accomplish this, Duesenberg uses the ingenious Plek machine. This machine levels all FRET with an accuracy of 1/100. Each FRET is measured and individually cut for optimal playability of the equipment. Our complex reworks are done entirely by hand. Each fret is perfectly polished and all fingerboard edges are carefully rounded to ensure a smooth playing feel. PICKUPS Duesenberg's creamy Domino P90 in the neck and classic-sounding Grandvintage Humbucker in the bridge form an all-around dream team that many have tried to recreate. The popular middle position of the heavy-duty 3-way switch features special wiring that removes certain low frequencies from the humbucker signal. The result is an open, funky and extremely versatile sound added to your sound palette. Features CONSTRUCTION The Alliance Series Mike Campbell comes in two different constructions. The smaller, Starplayer TV shaped instruments feature our versatile semi-hollow construction with a solid centerblock. The big-body Mike Campbell Hollow is all-hollow for a lot of moving air and feedback control. PREMIUM PICKUPS All Editions come with our own premium pickups. The blue and green versions are fitted with our acclaimed set of pickups that combines the sharp tone of a bridge humbucker with the warmth of a P90 in the neck position. The red all-hollow version features two P90 pickups for a pure and raw hollow tone PLEK PROCESSED Just like all our instruments, the Alliance Mike Campbell receives our elaborate Plek treatment. A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
