Twelve Distinctive Reverbs

From studio staples like Room and Hall, to deep and immersive textures like Shimmer, Slowverb, and the incredible new Arpverb, the RV-200 gives you an expansive palette of sonic colours for any song or musical style.

• Room - Simulates the reverberation attributes of a small room. Choose from four room sizes via the Param knob.
• Hall - Simulates the reverberation attributes of a concert hall. Choose from three hall sizes via the Param knob.
• Plate - Simulates the reverberation attributes of a studio plate reverb. Balance the high and low damping of the reverb via the Param knob.
• Spring - Simulates the distinctive ambience of the hardware spring reverb effect found in guitar amplifiers. Choose the number of springs via the Param knob.
• Shimmer - Creates long, dreamy reverberations with lush harmonic content. Tweak the harmonic character and diffusion via the Param knob.
• Arpverb - A brand new reverb algorithm developed by BOSS that creates an arpeggio effect with evocative pitch-shifted tails. Use the Param knob to set the attack of the arpeggio sound.
• Slowverb - A sweet ambient reverb with soft attack and gentle harmonics. Param adjusts mix of direct sound blended with the reverb, letting you to create deep, immersive tones.
• Modulate - A rich hall reverb sound with an added modulation effect. Adjust the modulation depth via the Param knob.
• +Delay - Combines a delay with reverb, with the length of both effects controlled via the Time knob. Use the Param knob to tweak the delay level.
• Lo-Fi - A specialty reverb with limited bandwidth and increased distortion. Dial the perfect distortion amount via the Param knob.
• Gate - A unique reverb effect that abruptly cuts off the reverb tail. Use the Param knob to adjust the timing of the gate effect.
• Reverse - Plays the reverb sound in reverse. Adjust the high-frequency character via the Param knob.

Like all pedals in BOSS's 200 Series offerings, the RV-200 boasts a powerful, yet streamlined panel that allows you to effortlessly discover inspiring world-class sounds. Featuring fundamental parameters like reverb time, effect level, and pre-delay, RV-200 also includes variable high and low filters - allowing you to dial the perfect ambience for the song at hand. The density control allows you to adjust the weight of the sound, with access to multiple sound-shaping tools unique to each algorithm via the parameter knob.

Expressive Performance Control

With 127 memories for storing reverb sounds, your favourite patches are always ready to go. Featuring two integrated footswitches, the RV-200 boasts outstanding versatility - with several options to reassign their targets to suit your needs. For example, you can engage/bypass the effect, browse through memories, and activate a Hold function that keeps the reverb tail floating around for as long as the switch is pressed. You can even assign to powerful performance effects like Warp, Twist, and Fade.

Expanded Operation

Featuring advanced control options, the RV-200 integrates seamlessly into any sophisticated rig. Control many different parameter targets externally via footswitches or an expression pedal, or go even deeper with the space-saving mini TRS MIDI connectors - which allows you to chain multiple 200 series pedals, and recall memories on all of them simultaneously.
