Highly customizable, the RC-600 allows you to configure the looper to perfectly suit the needs of your workflow. Featuring a myriad of programmable CTL parameters, the footswitches and pedal modes are able to control track operations, effects and rhythm functions, tap tempo, and more. In some instances, you can trigger multiple functions with a press, hold, or double-click of a single footswitch. With two available control jacks for connecting external footswitches and expression pedals - each with an individual set of parameters - the controllability of this unit is greatly expanded. Use the Assign function to assign up to 16 different controls for hardware and MIDI operation, and with seven top-level screen variations, you get instant feedback on a range of current operations.
Powerful FX for Inspired Performances
Performances with the RC-600 always remain expressive and exciting, thanks to a selection of 49 Input FX and 53 Track FX. With a universe of tonal colours available, including flexible effects from the huge BOSS catalogue, a guitar-to-bass simulator, and a massive selection of powerful vocal effects. Featuring a range of contemporary DJ-style effects, Track FX gives you access to Beat Scanner, Vinyl Flick, and more. Use up to four Input FX and Track FX simultaneously, and store banks of four in each section for fast recall, as well as toggle or momentary button settings for each type.
Connect and Mix
Boasting highly flexible connectivity, the RC-600 is prepared for any style of looping performance. This looper gives you two XLR mic inputs, along with two mono/stereo inputs for connecting guitars, keyboards, drum machines, and other various audio devices, and an input mixer with two mic compressors and dedicated channel EQs. With comprehensive output connections, you get three pairs of stereo outputs, a headphones output, and an output mixer, complete with programmable routing options, master reverb, and compression. You can even use the I/O options to connect external effects processors to effect one or more loops, and connecting via USB enables integration with DAWs on a computer, or use BOSS Tone Studio to import and export WAV loops.

The RC-600's huge collection of natural rhythms with dynamic real-time functionality give you access to more than 200 patterns in genres from rock, to pop, acoustic, Latin, jazz, and electronica - each with four variations to keep things fresh. Intros and endings are right there when you need them, and automatic fills provide musical transitions from section-to-section. If you can't find something that works for you, simply load your own SMF rhythms via USB using the dedicated RC Rhythm Converter software. Containing 16 various kits, you're able to jam with anything from light percussion and brush sounds, to bombastic heavy rock and EDM sounds.

Drawing inspiration from longtime lovers of the Loop Station, the RC-600 boasts a plethora of new creative appointments. With three available unique modes - including one that allows you to replace the current sound in a loop track while playing, as well as a new Bounce In feature for mixing down multiple tracks into one. The enhanced Undo/Redo function now features Mark Back - an enhancement which allows you to go back to a previously flagged loop state. You also get the ability to refine the overall playback speed with or without pitch shift, thanks to the available Half and Double Speed options. Finally, you can now assign the Auto Rec function to a footswitch for instant activation whenever you need it.
