BOSS GK5-KIT-G7 Divided Pickup Kit – 7-string Electric Guitars

The GK5-KIT-G7 Divided Pickup Kit has been designed exclusively for seven-string electric guitars. It contains the necessary parts for complete professional installation of BOSS’s GK-5 Divided Pickup with expanded controls. For ease of use, controls can be appropriately positioned at the player’s discretion during the customization process. Parts include the GK-5 unit itself, a bespoke circuit board, the Serial GK connector board/plate, volume pot, and switches, plus an LED, wires, springs, and screws. Expanded Fingertip Control Once installed, the GK5-KIT-G7 system works in complete harmony with the instrument’s standard pickup harness. Both outputs can be selected independently or blended using the three-way toggle switch. A three-way momentary switch activates two controls (S1 and S2) that can be assigned to various functions depending on the GK-compatible device attached. Similarly, while the GK volume knob adjusts synth level, it can also be used to continuously control a variety of assignable parameters. A handy LED lets you know when the GK5-KIT-G7 is receiving power. Installing this product requires modifications to your guitar/bass. Ask a dealer or repair shop that specializes in modifying and installing guitar/bass parts to do this work.
