Clean & Overdrive Channels

Two footswitchable channels (2-way footswitch sold separately), both based on Blackstar's award-winning tube products. The clean channel is centered around the HT-20R MKII with a "bright" switch and plenty of headroom. The overdrive channel is tuned around a St. James 6L6 and can deliver anything from blues and classic rock to metal tones. Central to the Debut 50R's design was a recreation of great tube tones.

Silent Practice

If you need to turn the volume down, plug into the Debut 50R's headphone/recording output for incredibly detailed and natural speaker simulation. Debut 50R's convenient headphone/recording output emulates the tonal characteristics of a speaker cabinet, providing accurate tones for quiet practice or direct recording at home.

Power Reduction

The Debut 50R boasts a power reduction switch from 50W down to 5W enabling you to play at quieter volumes without sacrificing any of the tone.

Footswitchable Channels

Dual Footswitch control for switching between clean and overdrive channels and engaging/bypassing Reverb, giving great functionality with your tone all with a 2-way footswitch (sold separately).

Music Playback
