DOMB has a thick tone without changing the high and low frequency content of the signal.
Booster pedals are more about tone than boost function. You need to be able to use clean boost and low levels, then as you increase the BOOST control changes the harmonic content of the tone, adding a slight 'edge' to the tone. As the signal level increases, the intensity and harmonics change according to volume. Dawn Ocean offers far more complex harmonics and bite than standard booster pedals.
Wren and Cuff is an American boutique brand that has designed fuzz pedals for many guitarists, including Dinosaur Jr's J Mascis. When Animals Pedal approached Wren and Cuff to collaborate, the Dawn Ocean Meditation Booster was created.
