Description

The "Clean Booster" pedal design not only increases gain levels, but also provides a deep and wide signal. Animals Pedal have joined forces with the team at Wren and Cuff to bring you the Dawn Ocean Meditation Booster. A modern twist on the powerful sound of classic booster pedals from the 60's and 70's. DOMB has a thick tone without changing the high and low frequency content of the signal.


Booster pedals are more about tone than boost function. You need to be able to use clean boost and low levels, then as you increase the BOOST control changes the harmonic content of the tone, adding a slight 'edge' to the tone. As the signal level increases, the intensity and harmonics change according to volume. Dawn Ocean offers far more complex harmonics and bite than standard booster pedals.

Wren and Cuff is an American boutique brand that has designed fuzz pedals for many guitarists, including Dinosaur Jr's J Mascis. When Animals Pedal approached Wren and Cuff to collaborate, the Dawn Ocean Meditation Booster was created. Many custom boutique pedals use old, hard-to-find parts, but the combination of Animals Pedal's manufacturing and design by Wren and Cuff delivers classic sounds with modern manufacturing ruggedness at an affordable price.

Controls
  • BOOST: Adjusts the boost level. It's slightly boosted at the minimum, and when it exceeds 2 o'clock, a more apparent boost, with a gain of up to +15dB.
  • Dawn Ocean Meditation Booster features true bypass switching and is powered by 9V battery or standard center-negative DC9V adapter.
