Description

The Walrus Audio Iron Horse V3 is a bold and aggressive distortion pedal that delivers thick, riff-ready tones with precision and power. This third iteration takes the beloved Iron Horse circuit to new heights, offering expanded tonal control and pedalboard-friendly upgrades.

At the heart of the V3 is a new blend-style clipping knob, replacing the previous toggle switch. This allows you to seamlessly mix between compressed silicon clipping and punchy LED clipping—or find the perfect balance of both for uniquely tailored distortion. From gritty overdrive to searing high-gain crunch, the wide-ranging distortion control gives you everything you need for classic rock, metal, or modern riffs.

Updated with top-mounted jacks, soft relay bypass, and refined volume control at low gain settings, the Iron Horse V3 is built for performance and tone without compromise—all wrapped in rugged housing with striking artwork by David Hüttner.

Note: Since the Si/LED knob is changing the internal gain and clipping style, the other controls will behave slightly differently as well. You will need to use the volume knob to adjust the overall output up or down depending on where you have the knob set.
