One of the most replicated circuit designs of all time, the Ibanez Tube Screamer has been driving the front end of amplifiers since it's inception in the late 70's. While today's market is flooded with TS808/TS9 clones by a huge range of different companies, the TS10 was always a personal favorite of Brian Wampler. Capable of delivering sounds ranging from a light boost, to searing drive that can push an amplifier into heavily saturated sounds, the Moxie is an incredibly versatile stompbox with plenty of rich warmth and commanding bite.

The original circuit that inspired the Moxie is infamous for it's tendency to cut the low and high frequencies, delivering a pronounced midrange boost. Wampler wanted to improve this design, so a custom Voice switch was added, which boosts the lows and highs up, while slightly scooping the midrange for a more natural sounding and powerful overdrive when switched to the right.

MOSFET Clipping
Where the VOICE switch isn't enough tonal variation, the FAT switch introduces a MOSFET clipping stage which changes the compression and texture of the overdrive. When set to the right, this switch adds an astonishing amount of gain while maintaining all the organic detail and clarity of your fundamental sound - reminiscent of a classic high-end boutique amplifier.
