In it's current form, fusion is a fairly recent concept - with origins in both theoretical jazz and rock, technically advanced shredders first became popular in the mid to late 80's. One of the forefathers of this genre is the UK's finest and most in-demand player of modern fusion, Tom Quayle. With his comprehensive knowledge on theory, a student base that includes not only 'regular' guitarists, but some of the greatest names in the industry, and a set of unforgiving ears that has never allowed him to find a pedal that lets him be the player he truly is.

By early 2012, Tom was already using a Wampler Euphoria and Paisley Drive stacked together to get the tones he needed, but something wasn't quite right; those pedals are more voiced for other genres of music, so Wampler attempted to refine these tones to suit his style of playing. Quayle required more transparency, with a slightly tighter and more controlled bass response - and when stacked, needed to sound and respond like a cranked amp, and give every string incredible articulation and response.

Over a year later, the Dual Fusion was born. Featuring two independent overdrive circuits that are completely modified inspirations of the Euphoria and Paisley Drive, the Dual Fusion produces tones to perfectly suit Quayle's inspirational and innovative musicianship.
