The Clarksdale Overdrive is Wampler's take on the iconic green overdrive that many players all over the world have come to adore - with a few select refinements, in true Wampler fashion. The realm of boutique pedals is saturated with many great variations of this already famous circuit, so what more could be improved? Wampler set out to design a pedal that would remain true to the tone and performance of the original, but with expanded tonal possibilities to satisfy the most demanding tone purists. With a 3-band EQ featuring active Bass and Mids controls, the Clarksdale Overdrive gives players finer control over their tonal palette than the original. The Lift/Smooth switch allows players to sit perfectly in the mix, or step forward to cut through with authority. Unlike the famed original green screaming overdrive, the Clarksdale doesn't 'fizz-out' at low or high gain settings.
