Featuring Vox's Nutube technology (a revolutionary new tube that produces authentic tube tone at a fraction of the size and power), the MV50 Brian May is based on the MV50 circuit and AC30 tone, but with the addition of the KAT Treble amplifier (Knight Audio Technology) that can be turned on or off, allowing guitarists to achieve Brian May's instantly recognizable tone. The MV50 features a sleek control panel with gain, tone and volume controls, as well as an EQ switch that can be switched from flat (ideal for larger cabinets) to deep (great for achieving deeper tones even with smaller cabinets). Despite its small size, the MV50 has a power output of 50W at 4 ohms, making it ideal for performance, rehearsal, and even practicing at home. The MV50 Brian May also features cabinet simulation on the headphone/line output, allowing you to record direct without having to mic the cabinet.
