Description

A noiseless take on Seymour Duncan's coveted SSL-5 Custom Staggered for Strat pickup, the Custom Stack Plus provides all the additional output and drive, while retaining that unique Stratocaster character. With tight and snappy low notes, focused and smooth high end, and a midrange that boasts a vocal-like quality, adding an extra layer of expression to your tone - all inside a noiseless Strat pickup that is seriously dead-quiet.

In the 1980's, Seymour Duncan developed a unique bottom coil that injects negative hum into the pickup circuit. The Custom Stack Plus features Alnico 5 rod magnets to achieve the authentic signature Strat tone, and the 3-conductor wire allows players to switch to true single coil mode with lower output and increased chime. Each pickup is fine-tuned for maximum noise cancellation at the end of the production process, and every pickup is wax-potted for squeal-free operation.

Designed to carry the traditional single coil Strat stylings, the Seymour Duncan Custom Stack Plus is fantastic in the neck, middle, or bridge positions and is hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA.
