So after calling Maricela "MJ" Juarez, a new pickup was unleashed. Meet the Red Devil for Strat set. All the thick, P.A.F. tones and Texas hot sauce bite of Billy's go-to, fit conveniently into Strat-sized single-coil pickups. The Red Devil for Strat set features 3 unique pickup coils with specially tuned Alnico 5 magnets. The bridge is like wound like an extra hot P.A.F. with enough oomph to beef up your Strat and deliver the fat tone Billy is known for. The neck and middle are slightly lower output, and lay rich, smoky blues. Great for clean tones and chunky rhythms, but with the horsepower Billy needs for lead playing. The Red Devil is also available as individual neck, middle and bridge models. Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, CA, the Red Devil model for Strat uses 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring configurations, and vacuum wax potting for quiet, feedback-free performance. TECH SPECS
