Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups provide hot output, fierce attack, and monster attitude. The 1/4" diameter poles and hot coil winding result in a full, balanced response with outstanding sustain and tonal complexity for massive tones suitable for any genre. You get the high output of an overwound coil with the articulation, detail and clarity of a vintage pickup. The neck position model is RWRP (reverse wound/reverse polarity) wound for hum reduction when using the bridge pickup simultaneously. These pickups are retrofit replacements for all American Standard Jazz Basses (Mexican Standard Jazz Bass uses two neck-sized pickups). Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, the Quarter Pound for Jazz Bass pickups use Alnico 5-bar magnets and Forbon flatwork and are wax potted to eliminate feedback.
