An accurate remake of Leo Fender's 1957 dual-coil pickup design, the Antiquity for P-Bass provides a round, woody tone and a smooth high-end response. You'll hear the classic body and depth of a P-Bass, but slightly mellowed from Seymour Duncan's custom aging process. Handcrafted in the Seymour Duncan custom shop, Antiquity for P-Bass features handcrafted forbon bobbins, plain enamel mag wire, hand-cut sand-cast magnets, brass baseplates, and wax cloth wire. Each pickup is lacquered and potted in lamp black paraffin wax, just like the originals.
