Both our Myaree and Wangara stores are open 9–5:30pm Monday – Friday, with Myaree open 9–7pm Thursdays, both stores 9–5pm on Saturday and closed on Sundays.

Stock is live across all three locations and updates as stock is sold, however we still encourage you to call ahead to the store if stock indicated here is low at your preferred location.

Click and collect is a service offered at both store locations, which may require stock to be moved between stores or from the warehouse, as such we request that if you have ordered online, to please wait for a confirmation message before heading to the store.

If stock is only indicated at our warehouse location it can still be transferred to your desired store, even if you just want to try it, just get in touch with your desired store during store opening hours and make a request!

Please also be aware that unless you have paid a deposit to hold an item, it will remain free for sale on the web even if it has been set aside in-store. To avoid disappointment we always recommend a 10% deposit, this can be done in-store or online, just get in touch!

The X1R is a rugged ribbon for any purpose.

Drawing on some of the technologies in our Voodoo ribbon mics, the X1 R is a vintage-modern hybrid that provides all the inherent smoothness of a hand-crafted ribbon mic, but with more versatility, durability, and ease of use than the delicate ribbons of yesteryear.

The second addition to the X1 Series, the X1R brings the magic of traditional ribbon mics into the modern age with a tough construction that can handle any SPL. This is a ribbon you can take on the road.

The sE X1R ribbon microphone is the new high performance passive ribbon from sE Electronics. The sE Electronics X1R is suited to a variety of recording applications including guitar cabs, drum overheads, brass, woodwind, strings, commercial broadcast and voice-over.

This state of the art ribbon element enclosed by top-grade Neodymium magnets boasts some of our latest ribbon microphone technologies. SE have combined their traditional ribbon technology with some of the mechanical elements of our patented Voodoo microphone HF (High Frequency) extension technology to bring you a classic sounding ribbon mic with a gentle HF lift.

The X1R uses hybrid ribbon technology to produce the natural beauty of the ribbon sound, but with more versatility and ease of use than the majority of ribbons on today's market.

The X1R comes standard with a mic clip that will securely attach it to any mic stand, but fits the SE Isolation Pack if a shockmount solution is desired.
