A beast of a DI Based on the renowned DYNAMITE technology used to build DM1 and DM2- DM3 breathes new life into the active in-line DI to a new silent benchmark. Its Ultra HiZ input and dedicated Class A output buffer amplifier preserve the individual tonal characteristics of your instrument in impeccable detail. Perfect for a wide variety of sources, from vintage electric guitars and basses to acoustic instruments using piezo pickups, keyboards, synths, drum machines, laptops and more. Thanks to its gigantic headroom and switchable attenuation pad, the DM3 can handle the blistering output of a 10,000 watt solid-state power amplifier. Its 3-position ground lift switch features a unique "on+" mode that effectively reduces not only noise and buzz, but also unwanted radio interference. With a lockable ¼” input jack, DM3 provides a safe connection in the most demanding and fast-paced live or recording situations where problems can arise. With a rugged all-metal chassis and an inline form factor to save valuable space, the DM3 isn't a box, it's more of a compact all-rounder (pun intended). Ultra-HiZ input for getting the best out of your instrument With practically no load on your instrument, the DM3 boasts a shockingly high 10 megaohms of input impedance, meaning the instrument's unique tonal character is preserved. The tried and tested ultra-low noise technology from the Dynamite series of in-line preamps ensures the highest signal quality even with low output pickups. Massive headroom for even the hottest instruments Designed to handle the hottest levels form high-output active pickups, any keyboard, drum machine, synth or laptop, the DM3 can readily handle the scream of a 10,000 watt solid state power amplifier (285 Vrms or 805 Vp-p!). If the signal gets too hot, use the built-in recessed attenuation pad switch to reduce the input signal by 15 or 30 dB to adapt to whatever input load required. A new standard to the ground lift switch DM3's recessed 3-position ground lift switch not only reduces unwanted noise and hum, but also reduces high frequency interference. Dial in the ideal setting for the purest signal, whether in the studio, recording at home, on an arena stage or in a place of worship. Lockable ¼” input jack The show must go on - and with the lockable 1/4" jack, you can rely on it! Perfect for any scenario, DM3's lockable switch ensures your signal is protected from any accidental snags, and the locking mechanism can be disengaged if preferred. Dedicated Class-A output buffer amplifier and premium finish State-of-the-art electronics give DCM3 the lowest noise in its class, and proven Class A design prevents zero-crossover distortion from degrading your signal. DM3 relentlessly buffers the signal independent of load impedance or cable distance, so you can expect a powerful, clean, consistent signal with an elegant finish that will last year after year. Slim, all-metal discrete housing and gold XLR connectors The DM3's all-metal design, high-grade build standards, rugged construction, and gold-plated XLR connector provide a road-ready design and reliable lossless signal in a remarkably compact form factor. DM3 connects directly to interfaces, mixers, stageboxes, or any standard XLR input with additional cables not required.
