The Sessions Ride cymbal was handcrafted in the SABIAN factory and was designed to be Sucherman's ride of choice for studio sessions. This special ride cymbal is heavily hand hammered, then lathed, resulting in multiple thicknesses across it's surface, and then hammered for a second time. The outcome is a cymbal with incredibly bold articulation, a complex and big sounding crash with a pleasing splash on the attack. The bell produces a higher pitch than the fundamental note of the cymbal, making the Sessions Ride a secret weapon workhorse in the studio, and a beast on stage.
