The newly developed pad structure offers a natural look and feel, with rubber tires in a triple-flange hoop and a rim height like a traditional acoustic snare. The PD-14DSX also features a throw-off mechanism that allows you to turn the virtual snare on/off with the flip of a lever, and a tension knob that allows you to adjust the tension of the snare. The knob also has a button that controls an assignable function within the module.
