State-of-the-art 32-bit/768 kHz converters deliver up to 123 dBA signal to noise ratio. Reference-class specifications combined with an unprecedented feature set. Powerful DSP for 5-band parametric EQ, quick bass/treble adjustments, and crossfeed, and a new Loudness control concept. The ADI-2/4 Pro features 2 servo-balanced analog inputs on combo XLR/TRS jacks, 2 independent balanced and unbalanced outputs on XLR and TRS, and 2 stereo Extreme Power headphone outputs on the front to suit all headphones, including IEMs via Pentaconn connector. Also available is optical SPDIF I/O that also understands ADAT, coaxial SPDIF (RCA) and AES I/O (XLR) via the included breakout cable. This universal set of I/O options offers exceptional quality and adaptable connectivity for those who do not compromise on audio quality. With separate balanced outputs for Line and headphones, balanced headphones no longer mute the rear outputs. Balanced Line and balanced headphone outputs can be used simultaneously with different sources/signals. The balanced TRS on the back can be fed from Line 1/2 or Phones 3/4 signal paths, perfect for processing insert effects during the mastering process. A high-resolution IPS panel makes operation even easier, and displays other features provided by the DSP: Peak level meters, a 30-band analyzer with DIGICheck biquad filter technology, and a State Overview screen showing the current status of SPDIF, AES, USB, and Clock. The USB 2.0 connector is fully Class Compliant (UAC 2.0), a standard natively supported by operating systems such as iOS, macOS, Linux and Windows 10 (1709 and newer), and is also used for firmware updates. Including an external switched power supply with a lockable connector, the ADI-2/4 Pro can easily be powered from batteries, enabling both mobile recording and galvanically isolated use cases. Extreme Power Headphones - The new Reference in Accuracy and Dynamic Range Developed by RME, the Extreme Power Headphone Stage has been further improved to provide an incredibly powerful headphone output (2.1 watts unbalanced, 3.4 watts balanced 32 ohms per channel). Low noise and extreme power design with dedicated IEM mode adds additional IEM power states (high power, low power, IEM) for full IEM integration. All three headphone outputs are equipped with mute relay, overcurrent detection, DC protection, plug detection, DSP control (auto assigning volume, volume ramp up, auto balanced mode, dual phones mode, user interaction at overload detection, low impedance level meter, auto scaling). Even more Flexible and Powerful A new Trigger Out socket supplies a 12 V switching signal via a 3.5 mm mono jack plug which can be used to switch power amps with Trigger In on/off together with ADI-2/4 Pro. Extended Multi-Remote Support (MRC) The ADI-2/4 Pro remote control features buttons for standby on/off, volume, balance, bass and treble, input selection (optical, coaxial, USB), mute, loudness on/off, bass/treble, and EQ.
