Both our Myaree and Wangara stores are open 9–5:30pm Monday – Friday, with Myaree open 9–7pm Thursdays, both stores 9–5pm on Saturday and closed on Sundays.

Click and collect is a service offered at both store locations, which may require stock to be moved between stores or from the warehouse, as such we request that if you have ordered online, to please wait for a confirmation message before heading to the store.

If stock is only indicated at our warehouse location it can still be transferred to your desired store, even if you just want to try it, just get in touch with your desired store during store opening hours and make a request!

Description

Constructed with an Acousticon® shell, a synthetic Skyndeep® lizard skin graphic drumhead, a 1-inch flat jingle set and a 30-degree radial bearing edge.

The Traditional Kanjira can be tuned easily by inserting a 5/64” hex key (included) into a recessed key hole and rotating the key in small increments.

This enables the player to achieve a low pitch while bending and modulating the drumhead exactly like the original without being affected by changes in climate.

The Kanjira fits comfortably in the player’s hand and features a dry tone with short decay. Ideal for traditional Indian musical applications.
