Using Pearl's proprietary principles, an additional stave made from exotic Maca wood is inserted into the central dado channel formed by each stave. Like an intricate puzzle piece, this Dado-Loc connection increases the overall strength of the shell by 50%. The shell is then machined to a perfect 25mm thick round shape, hand finished, and fitted with swivel tube lugs and MasterCast die-cast counter hoops for increased volume and tuning accuracy.
