If stock is only indicated at our warehouse location it can still be transferred to your desired store, even if you just want to try it, just get in touch with your desired store during store opening hours and make a request!

Weighing in at just 13.8 pounds, the Medalist is one of the lightest on the market. The light weight was achieved by considering every detail of the drum, from the 5.0mm even-ply shell to the innovative top and bottom snare strainers with Pearl's Quick Release Snare System. The top snare mechanism features a 28-strand chrome-plated carbon steel snare that is easily adjusted with a standard drum key. Combined with the warmth of a maple tenor drum and maple bass drum, the Championship Pipe Battery delivers a stunning, rich sound across the entire frequency range. SST Formed Boiler The Championship Medalist Pipe Snare is made with Pearl's superior shell technology, using a proprietary technique that creates the ultimate air chamber. Using hand-selected woods chosen for their unique acoustic properties, milled to precise thickness with overlapping scarf joint seams, for a perfect air-tight fit. The wood layers are saturated with Pearl's proprietary "AcoustiGlue", which penetrates every pore and dries to the wood's precise consistency for optimal resonance.
