CALL UP THE THUNDER AND LIGHTNING. The Poly Blue Octave features a rowdy fuzz, inspired by the classic MXR Blue Box™ fuzz. Applied to all 5 signals, the fuzz intensity can be dialed with the Dry knob after holding the fuzz button. When used with the sub-octave signals, the fuzz sounds fat and larger-than-life. Using higher octaves, the fuzz resembles a scorching synth. Run them all simultaneously for a chorus of lightning and thunder. PHASE YOURSELF. Poly Blue Octave features a dual-mode modulation effect that adds a tantalizing sense of movement to octave tones, from fat and gooey to wild and chaotic. In polyphonic mode, the effect offers an accurate simulation of the famous Leslie effect, while in monophonic mode it offers classic Phase 90-inspired swirls and sweeps. Similar to the fuzz effect, when active, the modulation is applied to all 5 signals. The Mod knob sets the rate of the effect. If you want it off, roll the mod knob all the way counter-clockwise. Via the EXP jack, Poly Blue Octave allows you to control different settings using an expression pedal like the Volume (X)™8 Pedal or an external switch like the MXR Tap Tempo Switch to switch between two different knob and switch configurations, or switch Fuzz and Mono modes on and off.
