Billie Joe’s signature tone was the product of two heavily modified amps—one delivering scooped, high-gain aggression, the other bringing tight, midrange punch. In the studio, the band carefully blended the two to suit each track’s vibe. MXR faithfully recreated this setup by studying Billie Joe’s original amps in depth, then engineering a dual-circuit pedal that puts that iconic tone at your feet.

The Dookie Drive Pedal features independent controls for the High Gain and Crunch Gain sections, giving you the freedom to shape each side of the tone. The Blend knob lets you mix the two, just like the original recordings, while the Scoop switch offers extra mid-cut for a more modern, aggressive edge.
