Iconic MESA Heritage Built on the acclaimed Subway® D-800™, the Subway D-350 combines a solid-state preamp with a lightweight Class D power amplifier and switch-mode power supply to provide plenty of first-class tone. It's the perfect lightweight package for home use or studio recording, yet provides enough power and punch to ensure you get the MESA-quality sound gig after gig. Best suited to small and medium-sized venues. All the Features you need Without the Complexity The MESA Subway D-350 can be easily adapted to active or passive bass use by toggling the active/passive switch, and the input mute switch allows for quiet use of the inline tuner. The Bright switch adds bite and sparkle to the overall tone and opens up the highs a bit more. All switches have LED status indicators. Separate Gain and Master Volume controls let you dial in a wide range of tones, from shimmering clean to mild overdrive and everything in between, while the built-in fixed high-pass filter (HPF) eliminates unwanted, non-musical, headroom-sapping levels. The Variable Voicing control adjusts the amp's response from a flatter curve to a more classic curve, altering and varying level and frequency response in multiple areas with the push of a button. Fully active 4-band Baxandall EQ features fixed frequency high and low shelving controls, plus fixed frequency low-mid and high-mid peak/dip bands for even further tone control . Outputs Aplenty If you're practicing at home, the AUX input and headphone output jacks allow you to listen to your media player and bass at the same time without disturbing others. The Subway D-350 also features a USB power port for powering accessories. Additionally, a full-featured balanced XLR direct output (DI) with pre/post EQ source, ground lift, and mic/line level switches are perfect for delivering superb tone. Take MESA's legendary Sound to the Front-of-house to the PA or recording system audio interface. You can connect one or two loudspeakers via a pair of speechON™ jacks. The Subway D-350 is an excellent companion to MESA's musical Subway® Ultra-Lite cabinets. With the ideal combination of small size, light weight, plenty of power, and great sonic flexibility, the Subway D-350 is perfect for recording sessions, small to medium-sized venues, or as an ultra-compact backup amplifier for touring.
