The Byzance Vintage Smack Stack features three B20 bronze discs shaped to create unique sound effects. You can control the stack by adjusting the tension of the wing nut on the cymbal stand. Raising the tension creates a crisp attack and short decay, perfect for fast accents. Looser settings will give you longer sustain. It is effective when combined with a snare drum to strengthen the backbeat, or as a replacement for the snare altogether. Disc sizes are 10 inches, 12 inches, and 14 inches.
