The Acoustic Electric D-X2E features an iconic dreadnought body shape and eye-catching High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Ziricote. The satin spruce top features an elegant abalone-patterned rosette, and the HPL back and sides ensure durability and classic Martin style without compromising on sound. Playability improvements include a thinner fingerboard with gently beveled comfort edges and refined string spacing, as well as a modernized bridge profile for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. Its distinctive size gives it loud and has powerful bass, making it suitable for all genres and experience levels. The D-X2E features a carefully selected hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, as well as Martin E-1 electronics with a chromatic tuner and built-in volume, tone, and phase controls, so you can plug it in and play it at any volume. All X-Series models come with a softshell case.
