Both our Myaree and Wangara stores are open 9–5:30pm Monday – Friday, with Myaree open 9–7pm Thursdays, both stores 9–5pm on Saturday and closed on Sundays.

Click and collect is a service offered at both store locations, which may require stock to be moved between stores or from the warehouse, as such we request that if you have ordered online, to please wait for a confirmation message before heading to the store.

If stock is only indicated at our warehouse location it can still be transferred to your desired store, even if you just want to try it, just get in touch with your desired store during store opening hours and make a request!

Description

For over 20 years, Ludwig's Classic Maple drums have been the first choice for professional players. Boasting full-bodied tone, lush sustain, and outstanding flexibility, Classic Maple Drums are the perfect choice for any performance scenarios. Constructed using a method that has been refined over 100 years of drum building, Classic Maple Drums are hand-crafted in Monroe, North Carolina and offer the signature Ludwig sound and performance.


Customized Kit

This customized shell pack was made-to-order, and therefore features slightly different components compared to standard Classic Maple kits. These include different Blue/Olive badges, classic floor tom legs, curved kick drum spurs, Vibraband tom mounts, as well as an extra Tom drum and refined shell sizing.

Shell

The 7-ply, 6mm shell of Ludwig's Classic Maple drums are engineered for superior resonance and musicality. Constructed with a laminated 3-ply, 2.4mm center core panel sandwiched between 2-ply inner and outer panels using Ludwig's exclusive RFST molding process.

For greater stability throughout the shell, all Ludwig USA shells are constructed using Radio Frequency Shell Technology. RFST's unique bonding method, combined with a proprietary, time-tested adhesive is a process that uses Ludwig's historic bladder molds from the late-'60s to cure each shell evenly across it's entire surface. This construction method is a crucial element in delivering the classic Ludwig Sound in every shell they make.

Bearing Edge

Each of the Classic Maple's shells feature bearing edges cut to 45° angle within 1/16" from the outer edge. This profile is key to achieving a broad tuning range and superior sustain, with a meticulously hand-sanded edge to ensure a smooth, even, flat surface for effortless head seating - the final piece of the unmistakable "Ludwig Sound" puzzle.
