In 2020, the acclaimed Wavestate takes Korg's wave sequence to the next level. Powered by the fundamentally redesigned Wave Sequencing 2.0, Wavestate delivers ever-changing, amazing sounds with comprehensive hands-on control. Rather than being a nostalgic new edition, Wavestate was developed from the ground up for a new generation of musicians, producers, and composers, drawing on sources as diverse as modular synthesizers, groove boxes, and algorithmic composition. 120 voices of polyphony, updated LFOs, and more Taking full advantage of new enclosure design and processing hardware, the Wavestate module delivers an impressive 120 stereo voices with polyphony. The new 4U rackmount enclosure features the same controls as the keyboard model, but is more portable and easily fits into your studio or desktop production system. In response to user requests, we've updated all his LFOs with freewheeling, delayed start, retrigger options, added new modulation sources, and more. Software updates for the original Wavestate will also be available. The Wavestate module is fully compatible with original Wavestate, Wavestate mk II, Wavestate SE, and Wavestate native software sounds and samples, as well as many great third-party libraries. Support for MIDI 2.0 property exchange and polyphonic aftertouch. With the latest software update, all Wavestate models, hardware, and software now support MIDI 2.0 property exchange. Hundreds of original factory sounds have been updated to include polyphonic aftertouch modulation (channel aftertouch is also supported). All of this makes the Wavestate module a great addition to KORG's Keystage controllers. Rack-Mount and Desktop Wavestate modules are cleverly designed for both desktop and rack installation. The panel has been redesigned to fit a standard 19-inch width, and the rear jack panel is recessed for easy access to cables even when equipment is mounted directly above. For desktop setups, the mount allows you to choose the angle of the panel. Lay it flat if you're performing standing up, or upright if you're working seated in the studio.
